I am a three-season cyclist, most often seen in Boston, Cambridge, and Brookline’s bike lanes. (In the winter, you’ll catch me on the T.) Cycling is my preferred approach to commuting, running errands, and visiting friends.
Zombies, ghosts, and found footage – let’s go. I enjoy all genres of horror, and am always looking for suggestions.
All-time favs are Train to Busan, Get Out, The Invitation, and The Babadook.
Guilty pleasure here: JB loves few things more than wandering a massive open world on my TV screen. Recent favorites include: Death Stranding, Horizon Forbidden West, and Stray. All-time favs are Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart, and Pokemon.
I recently completed my Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Extension Studies, Field: International Relations. My thesis entitled "Lessons from International Relations Theory and Terrestrial History for a 21st-Century Moon Race" was nominated for the Dean’s Prize for Outstanding ALM Thesis.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Northeastern University.
Since May 2022, I have managed communications and training for HKSIT. This involves producing training materials, hosting orientations, writing and editing internal communications, and managing intranet pages.
From June 2019 - May 2022, I oversaw digital communications at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. My most recent title was Digital Communications Manager.
Previously, I worked at Massachusetts General Hospital, SFGATE, MSN Money, The Boston Globe, and GateHouse Media New England.
